REFUND POLICY — HAGO PLACE

  1. Overview

This Global Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on the website operated by Hago Place, a brand owned and operated by MET GLOBAL TRADE, LLC.

Our mission is to provide a safe, transparent, and fair shopping experience while complying with internationally recognized consumer protection regulations, including:

This policy applies to all Hago Place customers worldwide.

  1. Eligibility for Refunds

2.1 Unused & Unopened Items

Hago Place accepts refund requests when:

the product is unused,

unopened,

in its original packaging,

and the request is made within 14 days after delivery.

If local consumer laws provide additional rights, they will be respected.

2.2 Defective or Damaged Products

If an item arrives defective or damaged, Hago Place will offer:

a replacement, or

a full refund,

at no additional cost.

Photo or video evidence is required for internal quality control.

  1. Non-Refundable Situations

For safety, hygiene, and global compliance reasons, refunds cannot be issued if:

the package has been opened,

the product has been used, tested, or applied,

the item shows signs of wear, tampering, or misuse,

the customer refuses delivery without valid justification,

the product is returned without prior approval from Hago Place.

Due to international hygiene regulations (EU, FDA, ANVISA, GCC), used cosmetic or personal-care items cannot be refunded.

  1. Order Cancellation

4.1 Before Fulfillment

Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase, as long as they have not yet been processed or shipped.

4.2 After Fulfillment

Once a tracking number has been issued or the package is in transit:

the order cannot be canceled,

however, customers may request a return in accordance with this policy.

  1. Returns Process

To initiate a refund or replacement request, customers must contact:

Provide:

order number,

full name,

detailed description of the issue,

photos/videos (if applicable).

Customers must wait for approval before returning any product. Unauthorized returns may be rejected.

Upon approval, Hago Place will provide full return instructions.

  1. Shipping Costs for Returns

6.1 Defective or Damaged Items

Hago Place covers 100% of return-shipping costs.

6.2 Other Reasons (Change of Mind, Incorrect Address, Buyer Error)

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable.

  1. Refund Method & Processing Time

Refunds are issued only to the original payment method, including:

Credit/Debit Cards

PayPal

Apple Pay / Google Pay

Klarna / Afterpay / Affirm

Shopify Payments (Stripe)

7.1 Processing Time

Once approved:

Refunds are processed within 3–7 business days,

Banks and processors may require 5–15 additional business days.

  1. Packages Lost in Transit

If a package is confirmed lost by the carrier, Hago Place will offer:

a free replacement, or

a full refund.

Loss must be confirmed through carrier tracking data.

  1. Wrong Address or Delivery Issues

Hago Place is not responsible for:

incorrect addresses entered at checkout,

failed deliveries due to customer unavailability,

unclaimed packages returned to sender.

In such cases:

reshipment may be offered (customer covers the cost),

refunds are not available.

  1. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

For international orders:

customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees.

Refusal to pay these fees does not qualify for a refund.

Packages returned or destroyed by customs due to non-payment cannot be refunded.

  1. Fraud Prevention & Abuse

Hago Place reserves the right to deny refunds in cases involving:

suspected policy abuse,

repeated or excessive refund claims,

fraudulent chargebacks,

misuse of return procedures.

Orders flagged by Shopify Fraud Protect, Stripe Radar, or PayPal Risk may require additional verification.

  1. Exchanges

Exchanges are not available for:

opened or used products,

unauthorized returns,

items damaged by misuse.

Exchanges are offered only for verified defective products.

Hago Place may update this policy at any time to ensure compliance with global regulations.
